Description For a number of years, one of the popular products I offered on the website was a Braid produced by Lagartun – possibly one of their best products, A lot of customers were very disappointed when the people at Lagartun retired … So – I am delighted to now offer the very latest product from the clever people at Veevus of Denmark – their Mini Flat Braid ! This is a very durable 3.5 mm wide (approx’) woven braid that is simply fantastic for Flash Backs, Wing Buds, Thorax Covers, Bodies – it really is a very versatile material, Fine enough to use as a great ribbing, tag or simply wrapped on a hook shank as a body, Veevus Mini Flat Braid can be used for Trout, Grayling, Steelhead and Salmon patterns. Also – great for bodies on small saltwater patterns … Why not try anointing the braid with a tiny amount of touch dub wax and coating it with long staple dubbing such as spiky Argentinean Hare for a super shiny GRHE pattern? The NEW Veevus version adds very little bulk to your patterns and the colours are even more vivid that the original braid – truly a material that you should not be without! Each spool has a very generous 4 metres of material.
