BSP or BSPP is acronym for British Standard Pipe Parallel. Sealing of BSP can either metal-to-metal or via a seal or O-ring. During maintenance these adaptors are used to convert BSPP threads from European manufacturer to an American thread – for example, UNF or NPT.
